Venue is a nice and compact SUV, now it is more modernized with lot of new features and design elements. From the exterior the vehicle looks futuristic. You can see a long led light strip on the front. LED headlights are provided. Hyundai logo is placed on the bonnet.
The Venue looks little long from the sides when compared it with the outgoing model, that shows the increase in wheel base. Hyundai has increased the wheel base to...mm which translates to a more cabin space. 16 inch alloy wheels are provided. It has a ground clearance of ...mm.
From the rear, it is a nice and cute SUV with a wide LED light bar on it. Venue comes with a 375 liters of boots space. 15" spare wheel is nicely placed inside the boot. Electrically operated boot lid is provided. rear wipers are provided on higher variants. Shark Finn antenna and rear spoiler are also available.
When you step inside, you will be greeted with the well laid out very futuristic dashboard with 10.5 inch infotainment system. A 5 inch Driver side display looks very good, it is a very clear display. Ventilated Driver and Co driver seats are available in higher variant. Driver seat height can be adjusted electrically but the co-driver seat comes with only manual adjustments. Two cup holders are provided on the center console. Driver side arm rest is also having a small storage space. Wireless mobile charger and type C USB chargers are provided.
Venue having a very comfortable rear seat. The rear seat having a slanting feature which allows the reclining of the seats up to a certain angle. Ample amount of legroom and headroom are there. Panoramic sunroof provided on the car making it more upmarket. The roof can be operated electronically from the front.
The Venue is available in Diesel and petrol variants. Even with petrol, you have options to choose from, it is available with naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine or a 3-cylinder turbo engine options. Both petrol and diesel variants are also available with manual and automatic transmission options.
Ride comfort is good, venue provides a nice ride on highways and on rough roads. Because of its 195 mm ground clearance you will get the confidence to take it to almost any kind of roads.
It is a nice fun to drive car, especially the 1.3 liter turbo petrol. The engine works well with the 6-speed DSG gear box. It can clock 0-60km/h in 4.95 seconds. But if you require more mileage, then better to consider the naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine. This engine is very calm and silent one, which gives out 72 bhp power and 115Nm torque. The 1.5 Diesel engine is also a smooth engine, it is an ideal vehicle for those who usually travels more than 50 km per day.
All new Venue is provided with lot of active and passive safety systems. It got 5/5 stars in adult and child occupant safety from Bharath NCAP. Some of the safety features are mentioned below.
