The Bangaluru based EV-Start-up Pravaig Dynamics has unveiled its new SUV Defy in India. The price of the car is Rs.39.5 Lakh ex-showroom. You can book this car with Rs.51,000 and the deliveries will begin from April 2023.
It is a tech loaded vehicle with lot many features including ADAS functions. It will get big infotainment screen, Panoramic Moon Roof, Air Purifier, Ambient lighting, Cooled Captain seats with electric adjustments etc.
Defy having a 90kWh battery pack and claiming 500+km range in single charge! Which is awesome. It is an All Wheel Drive vehicle, two electric motors, one each provided on the front and rear axles together produces 402hp power and 620Nm torque, makes this car to clock 0 to 100kmph in 4.9 seconds, it is really terrific.
The car can support the fast charger upto 160kWh. As per the company details the Defy can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes with fast charger.
Defy is a big SUV. It is 4.94 meter long, 1.65 meter tall and having 1.94meter width. So it has a good road presence. It's 3.03 meter wheelbase ensures a very spacious cabin. Defy is provided with 18 inch Alloy wheels and having 234mm ground clearance making it a real SUV in all sense. Moreover the company has planned to develop the Defy for Military use too.
As per the company website, the Defy is a Five star safety rated car.
